What is an Interactive Film?
An interactive film is a form of digital entertainment that merges filmmaking with video game-like interactivity. Unlike traditional linear films, the viewer can make choices that affect the story's direction and outcome. This creates a personalized and immersive experience.
The concept dates back to the mid-20th century but has seen a resurgence with streaming platforms. Netflix's 'Black Mirror: Bandersnatch' is a prime example, re-introducing millions to the power of interactive storytelling and pushing the boundaries of what a "movie" can be.
How does it work?
Each day, the community will be presented with 6 story choices. The winning vote determines the next scene of the movie which will be generated using AI.
