Camera Angles and Point of View

Camera angles cinematography is where the lens sits relative to the eyes: height, tilt, and whose look we inhabit. Rank is assigned before anyone speaks.

Eye Level is equality. A Low Angle looks up (power or awe). A High Angle looks down (pity or a map). Dutch Angle means the world is already off its axis. Point of View and Over-the-Shoulder Coverage are angles that also choose a mind. Match reverse height to the opposing body: sit versus stand, adult versus child. Prompt the horizon, the eyeline, and whether verticals converge.
