Time, Speed, and Motion Techniques

Slow motion cinematography and its cousins treat time as a material: stretched, crushed, frozen, or left to run. Write the frame-rate feel and whether motion blur is silk or stutter.

Slow Motion makes a hit, a look, or a fall readable. Speed Ramp changes rate inside the shot. Freeze Frame stops a fact on a still. Bullet Time and Timelapse Landscape are different machines: one is spatial sampling around an instant, the other is hours on one geography. Mark the beat a ramp or freeze hits. If time never changes the meaning, shoot it normal.
