Beauty light is not. Superstar is the sanctioned cousin.

Magazine is the page. This is the accident you keep.

It is the wrong tool for a royal portrait, a beauty cover, or a planned fashion key. If the red-eye and the wall-shadow are gone, you shot glam.

How it works

Chest to eye height, 28mm to 50mm, as if a compact in a crowd. Direct on-camera flash, hard shadow on a wall, compact-camera artifacts, sidewalk or club rope.

Do not beauty-light the face. No masthead.

When to use it
